This isn’t just “extra time.” During Power Hour, students can explore hands-on activities like:

The curriculum will rotate between
-Paint & Color: a focus on the FUNdamentals of drawing, painting, and color theory.
-Sculpture Studio: an exploration of 3D art and sculpting with clay and other exciting mediums.
-Mixed Media Makers: combining unconventional materials to create Art that pops
-Imagination Lab: art meets experimentation, and students explore which mediums and topics speak to them most

While the curriculum rotates to keep things fresh, your student can take the same class a second time and still have something new to learn!

Chess enhances students' academic performance by honing focus, patience, and critical thinking skills, making it an invaluable skill for every student to learn.

Throughout the week, campers will explore different types of puzzles used in escape rooms, including secret messages, ciphers, hidden clues, and logic challenges. Students will learn how puzzle creators design mysteries and will practice building their OWN Escape Room!

Students will:

• Create their own Escape Room to challenge others

Is your child always building with LEGO and wondering how things work? LEGO Engineers Camp turns that creativity into exciting engineering challenges!

Throughout the week, campers will tackle fun LEGO building missions inspired by real-world engineering problems. Students will explore different types of engineering while designing solutions, testing ideas, and improving their builds.

Students will:

• Complete creative LEGO building challenges

• Learn about different engineering fields

• Test and improve their designs

• Practice teamwork and problem-solving

LEGO Video Camp will rotate between four versions that are friendly to both students only taking one week, or students who are taking all 9 weeks!

Stop Motion Basics: Learn the fundamentals of stop-motion filmmaking, writing a balanced story, and adding amazing effects and building techniques!

Epic Stunts: Focus on creating action-packed LEGO scenes, camera angles, movement, and sweet LEGO people tricks!

Hollywood Effects: Experiment with camera tricks, lighting, visual effects, and sweeping cinematic LEGO scenes!

Beyond LEGO: Mix up your movies! How can we combine LEGOs with clay, paper, and other tools for animation to build a story that’s beyond LEGO, and beyond cool?

Does your child love magic, performing, and amazing their friends? Magician’s Camp: The Magic of Public Speaking teaches students exciting magic tricks while helping them build confidence speaking in front of others.

Throughout the week, campers will learn a variety of fun illusions and sleight-of-hand tricks while practicing important performance skills like stage presence, storytelling, and audience engagement. Students will discover that great magicians aren’t just clever—they are also confident communicators.

• Create a short magic performance to share with others

Throughout the week, campers will design, build, and test creative inventions while learning how inventors solve real-world problems. Students will experiment with different materials, improve their designs, and discover how trial and error leads to great ideas.
